I cannot recommend Yariv enough. He is very knowledgeable in his space and is a pleasure to speak to, in general (great sense of humor). If you have some questions in his area of expertise, you should absolutely schedule an appointment with him.

Bio

https://www.linkedin.com/in/yarivdrori/ I started my career with incredible audacity. Within 12 months I somehow transformed from a fish farmer in Israel into someone who presented outrageous innovative ideas to NYC executives at Neiman Marcus, Coach, Estee Lauder, and many more. It was a blast! However, as my career developed my audacity died down, I became heavy minded, methodical, and structured. Almost two decades passed by before I found myself in a corner office overlooking Madison Avenue and realized that I was desperately depressed. This does not need to happen to you. Many, and perhaps the most challenging aspects of your career are not necessarily hard tech skills, but mental ones. Getting to know yourself and what drives you forward is more important than any certificate you will ever get. I can help you manage difficult situations at work and at home, set priorities, communicate effectively, and control your state of mind. I want to be for you the person I needed when I started my career. I want to offer you perspective from my many experiences and allow you to learn from both my failures and my triumphs.

Expertise

  • Building a team

I have hired and supported hundreds of talented people in my career, many of whom have moved on to do great things on their respective paths. Few things bring greater satisfaction than inspire people to do the great work, especially in collaboration with each other. We all have our own drives, ambitions and pet peeves, as leaders, our job is to remove obstacles that may impede people from performing at their best. Those obstacles may be physical, procedural, mental, and many more.

  • Mindset coaching

It all starts and ends between your ears. The most vital skill you need is true awareness to your own mind. Understanding why you do the things you do, why you say the things you say, why does some things/people bother you, what scares you, what matters to you, what do you really want... It takes an immense amount of humility and courage to answer those questions truthfully. This isn't a business issue, but a matter of wellbeing in your life, your relationships, your health, your parenting...

  • Product management

Product is at the heart of all business. Product management encapsulates the entire process from innovation to market, including strategic planning, ideation, evaluation, definition, design, production, pricing, sales, fulfilment, delivery and feedback. Having a great idea is one thing, turning it into something that people want to buy and use is where the work is at. My experience with product is focused on SaaS platforms and the servicing through those platforms, mainly in media and ad-tech.

  • Productized services

One mistake SaaS companies do is assume that the market can't wait to use their platform in self-service mode, so they rush to invest lots of resources in UI/UX, just to hear clients say - I need you to do it for me... So, to win business, the company reluctantly agrees to operate the platform on the clients' behalf. Fast forward a couple of years and they have more service reps than developers and EBIDTA sucks because they never planned to treat their service as an alternative profit channel.

  • Venting frustration

I'm all ears. Tell me what frustrates you, and if you ask, I may be able to help alleviate that frustration. Remember that frustration, like any other emotion, is subjective.

Industries

  • E-Commerce

I Have filled various management roles in startup SaaS companies in media and ad-tech, mainly on the customer service and ops side of the business. Have learned great lessons from successes and mistakes.

  • Advertising

I am a CSO and head of product at MultiView, a B2B media company, servicing over 10k active customers who are seeking to reach highly exclusive professional audiences. B2B marketing is a humbling experience; audiences are small and hard to define, data is scarce, sale cycles are looong, decisions are made by committee, e-commerce is almost non-existent, and don't get me started about attribution... And yet, there are strategies and tactics that work.
