I am passionate about online marketplaces. I have worked both as a seller as well as on the marketplace side as a policy and decision maker. I understand the inherent tension between the two sides and how to make this relationship work seamlessly. After 6+ years in management consulting, I found my calling in digital commerce and have since worked on 3 missions in the last 10 years: 1) Got Indians hooked to online shopping - Scaled up Flipkart (last valued at $37.5B, acquired by Walmart) as India's most loved online shopping destination. 2) Created online-first go-to-market strategy for an offline fashion retailer - Set up Landmark Group's (offline retailer with 2000+ stores) e-marketplace business across China, India and Indonesia in partnership with Tmall (Alibaba), Myntra and Shopee. 3) Helped sellers on Amazon grow sustainably - I listen to sellers, read between the lines and craft innovative programs and products to help sellers grow with good unit economics.
