Founder
Legitimately one of the, if not THE best session I've had on this platform. Tomasz showed up to the session so well-informed on our brand, he had gone through our Instagram, really understood what we were doing - and had even put together a Figma board that went into detail on our next steps, what we needed to update, change etc. The value he packed into this session was unbelievable - also, his genuine passion and interest in UI and the user experience shone through. I left feeling so much clearer on how to make our website much more user-friendly - and inspired by Tomasz's passion and commitment. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend booking a session with Tomasz if you are feeling a bit stuck on your website, your positioning and/or your messaging.
Bio
I'm a founder of NerdCow, a web design consultancy in London. I oversee the key service of helping SaaS companies leverage their websites for maximum ROI. I coded the first website at the age of 13. During the following years, I've built hundreds of websites and web apps. Some for myself, some for others. While studying web development, I worked for local marketing agencies as a developer. Shortly after graduation, I started a freelancing gig that eventually turned into NerdCow. Websites live at the intersection of marketing, design, and development. So, over the years, I've learned how to best balance those elements for the benefit of the customer and the business. That super power, combined with the technical background, allows me to quickly identify issues with your website, create a plan of action to fix them, and oversee its implementation. When you speak with me, you can expect me to understand marketing lingo, design principles, and coding syntax. I get sales funnels, design systems, compilers, and everything in between. I believe that only having this comprehensive overview on the ecosystem, I can build websites that make a difference. **What am I good at?** ➡️ Creating effective website user journeys. ➡️ Solving for specific website problems that cripple marketing efforts. ➡️ Identifying and implementing website growth opportunities. ➡️ Performing a 360-degree website health assessment. ➡️ Aligning stakeholders and prioritising investments around websites. ➡️ Communicating complex topics in a simple to understand manner. **What have I done until now?** ➡️ I facilitated tens of in-person and remote workshops for SaaS businesses in which we designed, prototyped, and tested website user journeys. ➡️ I developed multiple website tools for a SaaS company that proved ROI to prospects, resulting in 261% more leads and 17% more user engagement. ➡️ I helped an enterprise customer transition from B2C services to B2B tech by facilitating workshops, testing website prototypes, and delivering a full website build. ➡️ I reduced the volume of customer support calls to free up the team members by improving the website messaging and user journeys. ➡️ I led design & development efforts for hundreds of website projects - from scoping out to launch. In both, the waterfall and the agile methodologies. **What industries do I have experience in?** ➡️ SMEs to Enterprise SaaS - with the focus on conversion rate optimisation and showcasing product value. ➡️ IT Services - with the focus on aligning stakeholders, messaging and common design principles ➡️ Ecommerce - with the focus on overall user experience on critical pages.
Expertise
Conversion rate optimisation
It all comes down to conversions. Starting with an effective website user journey, we can take time to build out the entire experience, which leads to more booked demos. But I realise CRO isn't one-size-fits all, so I take great pleasure with understanding every business. For the past 10 years, I've been helping B2B SaaS businesses to boost their bottom line by leveraging the power of a website. I can't wait to do the same for you.
Design / UX
I've created sophisticated design systems for website projects using the digital psychology and user experience principles. My favourite UI/UX work regards the website navigation, pricing tables, and accessibility concerns.
Idea validation
I'm an experienced Design Sprint facilitator and user researcher. I've worked with small to enterprise software companies and helped them solve crippling challenges. For example, "how do we explain what we do?". Those workshops always lead to sketching ideas, designing user flows, creating prototypes, and testing them with real people. Absolutely love this!
Productized services
This has been my favourite challenge to solve for my own business. I've learned a ton, so I'm happy to share my observations with you. Apart from designing such productised service, you need to consider pricing, touch points, terms, and whatnot. Ping me if you're going through this.
Technology and tools
I'm a nerd. It's in the business name. I love charts, numbers, code, and bugs. As a developer, I've delivered multiple third-party integrations, advised SaaS brands on the tech stack, and oversaw development teams. I'm on top with the latest technology trends, too. Especially, regarding WordPress 😊.
Toolkit
Wordpress
14 years of experienceI'm a WordPress fan. There I said it. I know it inside-out - including the technical aspect. If your website is running on WordPress, I'm the best person to talk to about your problems or concerns. And, if you're thinking of making the jump, I'm here to tell you why you should. It's great over here.
