For more than 25 years, I’ve been an executive in Silicon Valley, working at Adobe, Avid, and Plantronics. As a vice-president and general manager, I have built a reputation as an extraordinary all-around executive talent, growing in-depth product development, product management, business, and marketing leadership expertise. In 2020, I founded The Product Sherpa, a new-generation coaching and training venture that guides business leaders and product teams to success. The Product Sherpa was born from my obsession with deconstructing product and business excellence, following a significant product setback in 2005. There’s no magic framework for success, but I have built key leadership expertise focused on generating billions in profit and exceptional team alignment over the years. Then COVID-19 hit. I decided to share the method with more than one company and help the many businesses in need of transformation and turnaround. I particularly enjoy assisting product and business leaders in the five critical steps to business success in times of change: customer development, business vision, product portfolio optimization, adapted routes-to-market and maximized profit through strategic pricing. Living in California with my family since 1999, I enjoy the outdoors and running, and I have run more than thirty full marathons, including at least one on each of the seven continents. I’m originally from France. I graduated with a Master of Sales & Marketing degree from Reims Management School, Reims, France (now part of NEOMA Business School), and completed the Stanford University Graduate School of Business – Executive Education program. I keep learning every single day and am an avid reader of business and strategy publications. The top of the list of my favorite authors and timeless books include “Principles” by Ray Dalio, “Thinking Fast and Slow” by Daniel Kahneman, and “Start With Why” by Simon Sinek.
