Fractional CMO / Head of Marketing & Growth, Startup Growth Consultant, ex-trivago, ex-PENTA/Qonto
Bio
I am a fractional and full-time CMO & growth strategist with 10+ years of experience across B2B and B2C, tech and agency, early-stage startups and global brands. I've built GTM and growth strategies that helped scale companies to acquisition - including two fintech exits to major European players from Berlin’s startup scene - to Qonto and Vivid Money. Earlier in my career, I worked at trivago, a German unicorn and global travel leader active in ~50 markets, where I gathered experience in a rare mix of B2B product marketing, B2C media buying, and product management within the front-end team. This gave me a full-spectrum view across user experience, commercial positioning, and execution. At the start of my career at Publicis Groupe, one of the world’s largest agency networks (the “Big 4” of marketing), I worked on omni-channel media strategy and buying for global brands - helping them drive sales via large-scale online and offline advertising. What I bring to the table: * GTM & growth strategies tailored to your stage, product, and team setup * Deep experience in crafting ICPs, buyer personas, and aligning marketing with the sales motion * Expertise across B2B outbound, B2C paid media, lifecycle, brand, and product marketing * Strong foundation in attribution, analytics, sales enablement, and rebranding * Cross-functional leadership: from product to creative to performance * A collaborative, empathetic style paired with direct, honest feedback If that’s what you need, let’s talk.
Expertise
Growth marketing
I have been active in full-time and fractional Growth roles over the past 4 years. I was accountable for 90% of the new customer acquisition as a Head of Marketing of a Berlin-based B2B Fintech which was acquired in 2022 by its Euroopean competitor Qonto for 220M€. I had the same task as a Fractional CMO at another Berlin-based B2B Fintech, acquired by Vivid Money in 2024.
