Hands on building, as well as consulting corporates and startups on growth strategy

Head of Growth Marketing
Phenomenal session! Stefan is an expert at simplifying confusions regarding career and skillsets. He was very kind to go overtime in our meeting and he also shared his own resources on how to effectively choose the right skillsets in career trajectory. I highly recommend having a session with Stefan.
Stefan knows his B2B SaaS stuff! We had a very productive meeting about struggles with my current strategy and he explained everything he did when he was in a similar situation. Overall he gave me some great feedback and was very clear and patient. I will definitely book another meeting if I need additional advice :)
Stefan is very knowledgeable about GEO. Greatly helped my ai startup get started on our GEO strategy.
I'm Stefan, I like startups and creative problem solving. I can help you crack the growth plateau of your SaaS. My specialty is performance marketing. I spent millions on search, display, Youtube, social and of course organic/SEO. More recently I started focusing more on GEO (generative engine optimization), since showing up ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc. is increasingly important. It's a very new field, and most people don't even agree on a name yet (GEO, AIO, LLMO...), so I can't call myself an expert yet. But I'm experimenting and learning a lot about it every day, so if you have questions on the topic feel free to ask. I will be most helpful you if: 1. You already have achieved product market fit and have some traction (MRR > $10K) 2. You lack an understanding of how your growth model actually works and where its contraints are 3. You need help understanding your users and their behavior in your tool or on your website
I have a knack for breaking down systems into its smallest pieces and reassembling them from the ground up to coherent growth model. Using first principles over slapping some "hack" on top of a shaky, misaligned foundation.
In times of AI and remote work, the most important (meta) skill you can have is learning how to learn. This will give you the ability quickly adapt and stand out in any environment. Next to the basics such as developing a growth mindset, you need a strategy on "what to learn" and "how to learn" in order to stay relevant and future-proof your career. However, most people get this wrong, by building a "Frankenstein" skill-set of unrelated skills that don't compound on each other.
This is what I spent the most time with. Started with product data feeds, then moved to search and later display and facebook. All channels have their strengths and weaknesses and it's always important to look at them in conjunction with your product and monetization model.
I've managed SEO projects for many different companies, from content plan to website relaunch and link building. Haven failed and experimented countless times over the years, I know what works for SaaS specifically.

Analyzing websites and user behavior for various (SaaS) companies. Many company use it instead of hotjar these days because it's part of the Microsoft Suite.
Been doing Adwords for SaaS in particular for over 5 years. Scaled budget from a few hundred €, to a hundred thousand € a month. Knowledgable about the ins and outs of doing PPC for SaaS/Subscription
Set up bots and welcome messages. Most simple, some of them a bit more complex to qualify leads. Turned out to be the best source of booked meetings.
Ran a whole lot of experiments, on landing pages, signup flow and across page wide elements like menu, product detail pages and more. Some successful, most weren't.
I love hotjar for user feedback. Use it all the time to collect poll responses, heatmaps and look through user videos of landing, pricing, signup pages etc.
Hubspot is at the core of all of my marketing automation acitivies. But at the end of the day, all these tools are kind of the same. What matters is thinking through the funnel and good copy. Wrote many emails, sent many campaigns, then hired someone who could do it better than me.
Deep experience in B2B software marketing, designing full life-cycle customer journeys from first touch point to customer success and upsell. Expertise in many different channels.
Former head of demand generation in a SaaS company, building a growth team and designing the customer acquisition strategy. More recently, consulting for larger clients at BCG X.
Working with large e-commerce players such as Rakuten and SaaS companies to help sellers and brands grow on Amazon. Recently working on growth strategy for ventures, including different marketplaces.
Next to specializing in GEO/AIO, I helped various AI - Startups with their customer acquisition. For example, I designed the SEO strategy for a fast growing voice AI assistant.

Hands on building, as well as consulting corporates and startups on growth strategy

Was hired as the first full time marketer in a 10 person bootstrapped SaaS startup, that makes software for Amazon sellers. Took on adwords and testing a lot of channels to see what works and what doesn't.

I managed email marketing, price comparison sites and product data feeds for the DE, UK and ES marketplaces with over €1M annual budget. Expanded ownership to include display, remarketing, prgroammatic and even TV campaigns. Had a blast.
