Welcome to my profile 🎊 I'm amazed how mentoring has helped me advance my career and would love to help you work through startup growth or personal development challenges. I started out in strategy and communications before moving into startups in 2019. I led the product-growth relationship at what3words, analysing AB tests using SQL & DataStudio and teaching teams about experimentation. I then moved into a pre-seed sex therapy app called Ferly, where I started the growth process, monetised the product and ran growth marketing channels. That led me to my latest role at series A startup Peanut. As Product Growth lead, I worked across monetisation, activation and retention. Ran Meta ads across Facebook and Instagram for B2C app. Including designing the creative, setting up the channels and testing & scaling based on performance.
Analysing web performance (e.g. traffic, conversion rate, email capture), researching organic traffic sources, AB test analysis and tracking website health metrics
We used DataStudio at what3words to create company-wide OKR dashboards, analyse user behaviour and report on AB test results. Regularly created new business intelligence dashboards for a range of stakeholders, often involving user research
Audited all tags in Google Tag Manager (GTM) to cut any unnecessary code from the website. Aim to improve website speed to help increase SEO performance
Used Hotjar to analyse landing page performance and user behaviour. In addition to usability studies, Hotjar can collect larger volumes of data quicker, and is great to supplement user research & AB test learnings
Creating compelling emails, subject lines and automated campaigns. Either for user research, monetisation flows (discounts, trial reminders) or general CRM strategies.
Used Mixpanel to conduct behavioural analyses of users and products. Including creating retention cohorts, tracking KPIs, analysing AB test results, conducting leading indicator analysis (also required sheets) and ad hoc analyses. Used Mixpanel daily
Used Segment to streamline user data collection and storage, connecting to Facebook SDK, Mixpanel and other third parties. Tech lead led the integration, I supported on what tools we needed, and analysed data discrepancies across each
Used Zapier as part of a hacky Martech stack to connect Mailchimp, Typeform and Google Sheets, aiming to send personalised CRM to survey respondents, for both user research and discounts
Worked across three B2C startups in navigation, social networks and health. All app-first, with web presence. Full funnel experience from acquisition, activation, monetisation and retention.
Worked on a digital health solution based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Included liaising with sex therapists and health practitioners and navigating challenges with advertising around sexual health and wellness.
