I've been working with startups (and scale-ups) on GTM for a long time and have advised hundreds of companies around this (it's actually a key area of expertise I've built since launching my consultancy/agency in 2002).

I have been using Adwords/Ads for a long time now - and probably overseen 30-40m in spend cumulated across maybe 1.000 accounts. Since paid search is still a core initiative of growth for almost all startups - this is definitely one area of focus where I bring value in helping founders on their growth strategy.

Have started to use Basecamp for my own companies in 2005 and have been through all iterations, big and small, of the product. Have used most / all major competitor platforms as well - Trello, Asana, Mondday, Jira etc.

Have been using GA for a long long time for now (ever since it used real data, not extrapolated!), in an agency position as well as for own projects. This is still the first thing I check when starting to work with a startup - as it's still the best way to get an overview and basic action plan (even though for some deep dives it's not enough any more).

I actively use Data Studio to understand and get updated on trends for all startups I advised. Overtime I have built my own templates and gauges to be able to instantly have an overview of any business in any vertical.

Have been using Mixpanel on one of the startups I advice to get more depth of insights than GA (and up to 2021 also for marketing automation). Currently using it both for dashboards as well as for deep dives.

Have been part of a big Salesforce partner org (Dentsu) and have been hands-on leading a Salesforce implementation in Romania for an NGO in the past years.
