Marketing Director - Startup Advisor
Natalie leads marketing across EMEA for global financial platform, Airwallex. In her current role, Natalie heads up a team with a focus on brand, demand generation, acquisition and retention, to accelerate the growth of Airwallex across the EMEA region. Before joining Airwallex in 2022, Natalie led marketing and growth at startups and scaleups across both B2B and B2C in various industries including consumer audio, revenue-based funding and autonomous vehicle technologies, having started her career at retailer GAP and Xerox. Passionate about tech startups, in her spare time Natalie supports small businesses and mentors talent across sales, growth and marketing.
I have built multiple marketing teams in various industries with a focus on driving fast impact from new hires and scaling with freelancers and agencies as needed.
In all roles I have prioritised a content marketing function to drive organic and paid content across the full funnel. I believe this is fundamental to all B2B and B2C businesses.
Having worked across a number of email marketing tools and led teams on lifecycle marketing, I am able to support on strategy, best practice and execution to ensure the basics are in place, then building full lifecycle and email campaigns.
I have broad experience across different verticals in GTM strategies, with a focus on growth, sales and marketing, whether for a business, brand, product launch or new vertical.
Having worked in early stage startups to scale ups for a number of years I understand the frustrations for teams and founding teams first hand and enjoy sharing personal advice, mentoring sessions and my personal journey with meditation.
Launches are one of my favourite areas of marketing to stay close to the detail. I believe a successful launch can drastically improve awareness and consideration for even the smallest of brands.
I have experience from first revenue to funding true product market fit across the EMEA region. I enjoy both the detail on execution and the high level strategies needed to achieve true PMF.
