Bio

I am a Product Design Leader and Design Sprint facilitator with 15+ years of experience helping product teams turn uncertainty into confident decisions fast. I founded gonogo.design, where I run structured product discovery for product leaders who need clarity before committing to delivery. My work covers AI-powered Design Sprints, Problem Framing Workshops, User Testing, UX Audits, and the go/nogo hackathon format, a one-day session that combines AI-assisted building with real user validation to reach a clear go/no-go decision the same day. Before starting gonogo.design, I was Head of UX at Sanoma Learning, where I built and led a 35-person UX team across 5 countries, scaled a company-wide design system, and raised UX quality across a large multi-product portfolio. I have over 60 hours of mentoring experience, working with designers and product managers across the product industry. That hands-on leadership background shapes how I mentor on GrowthMentor today.

Expertise

  • Building a team

For founders: figure out when to hire your first designer, what to look for, and how to set them up to succeed from day one. For managers: I have hired, onboarded, and let people go across a 35-person team in 5 countries. I can help you structure your hiring process, define roles clearly, build a healthy team culture, and make tough people decisions with confidence.

  • Career guidance

I can help you figure out your next step, whether that is moving into a senior role, shifting into product, stepping into leadership, or going freelance. We can work on your portfolio, how you talk about your work, how to get visibility, how to negotiate a better salary or contract, and how to build a career path that fits where you want to go.

  • Design / UX

For founders: validate ideas fast, run discovery, use AI to prototype, and make go/no-go decisions with real user evidence. For managers: build UX strategy, hire designers, scale team processes, and transform how your org thinks about design. For UX designers: grow your craft, find your career direction, and deliver work that actually drives product decisions.

  • Idea validation

For founders: stop guessing and start learning fast. I can help you test your idea before you build, choose the right validation method, talk to users properly, and turn early signals into a clear go or no-go decision. For UX specialists and product managers: I can help you build a validation habit into your process, frame hypotheses, run lightweight tests, and present findings that actually influence what gets built next.

  • Imposter syndrome

If you feel like you do not belong in the room, that your work is not good enough, or that people will eventually find out you do not know what you are doing, I have been there too. I can help you name what is happening, separate real gaps from false ones, build confidence backed by actual evidence, and start showing up as the person you already are. This applies whether you are a designer, founder, manager, or anyone navigating a new challenge.

  • Leadership

For founders: understand what kind of leader your team actually needs from you, make decisions under uncertainty, build trust fast, and learn how to lead without all the answers. For managers: I led a 35-person team across 5 countries. I can help you run effective 1:1s, give hard feedback, manage up, handle conflicts, grow your reports, and build a culture where people do their best work.

  • User research

For founders: plan and run user research without a big team, turn early conversations into clear product decisions, and test ideas before you build. For managers: set up research processes, connect findings to roadmap priorities, and make user evidence part of how your team works. For UX designers: sharpen your research skills, choose the right methods, and present findings that actually change what gets built.

  • Venting frustration

Sometimes you just need to say what is not working, without being judged or having to fix it right away. Whether it is a difficult stakeholder, a team that does not listen, a product going nowhere, or a job that is draining you, I am here to listen first. We can talk it through, make sense of it together, and figure out what, if anything, to do next. No agenda, no pressure, just a real conversation with someone who has been in hard situations too.
