Bio
Being a startup's only marketer can be a LONELY place. You constantly second-guess yourself. Your role is rarely just marketing, you’re required to be customer development, product and growth. I'm here to help navigate you through the messy work of startup life. Before entering the consulting world, I worked in startups for nearly 10 years. My most recent experience involved joining an online learning platform as employee #1. The startup had one customer, I joined to help validate the business model, build out the product and marketing and head up the go-to-market. This year it was acquired. (Hurray!)

Go to market strategy
I work with early-stage teams to help shape their go-to-market strategy, with an emphasis on customer-led growth and product-led growth strategy. Specifically, I cover ICPs, the WHY behind customer purchases, acquisition models (think free trials), product usage, channels and more. My experience is b2b focused.
Idea validation
I'll work with you to understand the problem you're truly solving and how to structure audience and customer interviews to identify possible demand. I'll use the techniques of Jobs to Be Done and competitive analysis to help shape your next steps.
Product marketing
I'll work with you to discuss your acquisition model, understanding your customers' JTBD, onboarding, how to increase engagement, aha! moments, and how to apply over the entire customer lifecycle.
Venting frustration
I've been that marketer who has joined a startup and is working with a first-time founder. Everything is different when you join a startup. The market is different, you don't really have a product, and you're expected to deliver more for less. Vent away, I've got you!
