I really believe there’s nothing more valuable than chatting to people who’ve actually done the thing you’re trying to do AND believe in you! I’ve built my career across agency, brand, and my own ventures—developing 360° campaigns at BBH, leading social and digital for Nike London, and now building platforms like DMD (Dance Music Digest) from the ground up. That mix means I’ve seen both sides: big, structured teams and figuring it out solo with no roadmap. I won’t pretend it’s been linear. Building things from scratch, trying to grow an audience, and balancing creative work with making things commercially viable—it’s a constant process of testing, failing, and refining. But that’s also where the most useful lessons come from.
