Lazar's consultation was truly mind-blowing. He clearly put in the effort to deeply understand our unique situation, providing spot-on actionable advice. The tools and strategies he recommended were practical and immediately useful. His dedication to delivering real value was evident, making him highly recommendable for anyone seeking insightful and effective guidance.

This was by far the best 30 minute call I've had on Growth Mentor. We've been stuck at a plateau from trying the same old marketing tactics that every company is familiar with. Lazar has really found some unique angles to grow SAAS users that target the people facing problems their product has a solution for. I had some amazing takeaways and a clear path on what to focus on in our industry. :)

This was probably one of the most eye-opening tactical calls I've had, and I didn't originally think it was going to be a tactical-type of call when I booked. I wanted to understand community-led growth because the resources I've seen on the web and even in online conferences/summits are...lukewarm. It's either all the same advice, or it's trying to treat a niche like newsletter community growth as equivalent to growing community for a product. I expected to get a general walkthrough of "okay, this is how the loop works, this is how it's usually set up." Lazar rocketed above that. He went into the actual tactics he's using at Uxcel and explained each core pillar and it gave me SO many more ideas for how I could apply it than a high level call could have. And he went into combined loops I would have NEVER thought of (PLG + community led growth anyone?) Plus he shared some tips and tricks for places I'd felt stuck on with past projects. On top of it, he was kind enough to go over our planned time. I feel like I learned more in 45 minutes of talking to Lazar than I could have learned in weeks or months of DIY research and experimentation. So no matter where your experience level is with community-led growth, you need to talk to Lazar.

Bio

Here's the truth: SaaS growth is broken. You feel it every day. Marketing celebrates leads while your costs soar. Sales builds custom decks because "marketing doesn't get our customers." Product ships features no one knows how to sell. Everyone works in silos. Everyone chases different numbers. Everyone misses the bigger picture. Sure, you're growing. But it's slow, expensive, and feels like pushing a boulder uphill. It doesn't have to be this way. The future belongs to companies that put their product at the center of everything. Companies where the product itself drives acquisition, conversion, and retention. When your product becomes your primary growth engine, everything changes. Users discover value before talking to sales. Your product demonstrates its worth directly, not through marketing claims. Word of mouth happens naturally because users see real results. This creates a cycle where success feeds more success. Happy users bring more users. More users create better product experiences. Better experiences create more happy users. The companies that understand this spend less time and money to acquire each customer. Their sales cycles shrink. Their retention improves. Their growth compounds rather than just adding up. Becoming product-led starts with reimagining your entire customer journey: Embed marketing directly into your product. Transform how you sell by using product data to guide conversations. Build for the end-user first, creating experiences so good they champion your solution throughout their organization. This isn't about eliminating your go-to-market efforts. It's about aligning everything around your product experience and user success. The old playbook of siloed teams and top-down marketing is fading. A new approach is emerging where product leads and everything else follows.

Expertise

  • Building a team

Scaling growth and marketing teams from 0 to 10+ members with the previous startups I have worked with. I have vast experience in setting up the marketing recruitment process, growing and coaching marketers. I've been working on laying out the foundation for properly identifying potential culture-fit and culture-add team members.

  • Community building

Built communities from 0 to 20k+ members, while driving 18%+ community to signup conversion rate. Building community-led growth flywheels + community operations that turn communities into user acquisition engines.

  • Go to market strategy

Specifically focused on product-led growth and Product-led sales. Previously worked on implementing an entire product-led sales strategy from scratch: attribution, user segmentation and enrichment, lead scoring, and the entire inbound sales motion based on product activation. When it comes to Growth, I've been mainly focusing on building high-performing acquisition channels, tied with growth-loops focused on growing through referral and word of mouth.

  • Growth marketing

For 5 years, I've been running growth operations for early-stage startups, mainly focusing on user acquisition, building growth loops, running 100s of experiments across acquisition, activation, and retention, with a goal to maximize revenue. On average, startups I've worked with have seen 100%+ YoY growth. Together with engineering team, I have built an attribution system allowing startups to see direct impact of every single channel across acquisition, activation, monetization, and retention.

  • PPC strategies

Running LinkedIn and Google Ads for B2B. For one of the startups I have worked with, I managed to: - Optimize Google Paid Acquisition, driving cost per user signup from $135.29 to $14.41 - Optimize LinkedIn Paid Acquisition from 0 and $8000+ spent results to $11.99 average cost per signup from Retargeting, while driving <$1 CPC

  • Product launches

Launched multiple products from 0 to 5 figures in revenue in a matter of weeks. One of the product that I launched was 3rd product of the week on Product Hunt, as well as being nominated as the best design tool of the year for the Golden Kitty Award.

  • Product marketing

Building Product Marketing operations from scratch for early-stage startups, including messaging, positioning, trial-to-paid conversion, product launches, and feature adoption. I built 3 frameworks that allowed me to seamlessly launch a new product, acquiring 15k users and $3k net-new MRR in just 30 days of the launch.
