    The first startup I worked at was a tool for conversion rate optimization & UX insights, so I've seen in detail how some of the world's top teams approach CRO, and helped companies like Epson & British Gas score major conversion uplifts. I've been a featured speaker at CRO conferences, and designed & implemented ~100 A/B tests in my career.

  • Go to market strategy

    I've been the "growth" and commercial lead for 2 startups now (one B2B, one B2C). I have extensive knowledge of "growth loops" and how to pick the right approach for a given business, including target audience, channels, and business model.

  • Idea validation

    I've run a TON of experiments to validate product ideas and value propositions (landing page experiments, ads, discovery interviews, cold outreach), and oversaw discovery & design sprints to validate product ideas. I even orchestrated a month-long concierge MVP for a product before building it.

  • No-code

    I've hacked together many MVPs, experiments and product experiences using no-code tools like Typeform, Zapier, Email automations, WhatsApp, Stripe, etc.

    I PM'd a growth "pod" at Bunch and was responsible for multiple onboarding iterations, sharing and referral features, social profiles & comments, and more. As a strategic leader in the company, I collaborated with our CEO to form the roadmap and prioritize key initiatives.

    I have a lot of experience in finding & validating product market fit using both qualitative techniques like the Ellis Question survey, and quantitative analysis (retention cohorts and analysis of retention curves).

  • Remote work

    I was an in-office guy until the pandemic force our team to go 100% remote. 3 years later, I can't image commuting to an office every day. Along the way, I've learned a LOT about how to work effectively as a remote team, why it's a superpower, and when it makes sense to get people in the same room.

    In my first startup, I was the head of sales for a B2B SaaS for 6 years, and sold to companies like Google, Nike, Epson, Columbia Sportswear, Merck, and many more. I also built & coached our sales team and was responsible for our sales processes.

I oversaw all-things customer-facing at different points during my 6 years at EyeQuant (acquired in 2018) - from sales, to content marketing, to customer success. During that period, we 6x'd our annual recurring revenue. As a player-coach for our Go To Market team, I defined our strategy, mentored new AEs and SDRs, and personally closed >100 new accounts, helping companies like Google, Nike, Epson, LEGO, and Columbia Sportswear to improve digital experiences that impacted hundreds of thousands of users. The company was acquired in 2018 and still operates today.
