I worked at Meta (formerly known as Facebook) for 10 years, working in a range of functions, organizations and locations. I began my career working on the Policy team in Washington DC before moving into Operations and Escalations (incident response) in Austin TX. I next moved to San Francisco, where I served as Chief of Staff (Business Lead) to the Global VP of Partnerships and COO of Instagram. During the pandemic, I decided to move closer to the product/business functions and joined Workplace, Facebook's enterprise SaaS tool, in London. I became a product manager for the Instagram team focusing on delivering new ads formats for retail advertisers.

  Idea validation

  At Instagram, I introduced new ads formats and optimizations to help advertisers display products for sale. We wanted to help potential buyers learn more about products for sale and ultimately purchase those products. Throughout the product development cycle, we needed to balance performance, value and advertiser outcomes.

  Venting frustration

  Sometimes the best ideas and concepts are surrounded by a bit of chaos. I can be a listening ear to help sort through and navigate between what is signal and what is noise.
