As a Fractional CMO and strategic advisor, I help B2B tech companies get the foundations right: sharp positioning, smart go-to-market strategies, with marketing that actually drives revenue and builds brand value. I’ve built and led global marketing teams across the US, UK, EMEA, APAC and LatAm, and I know what it takes to scale fast. I work with ambitious start-ups and scale-ups to build standout brands and high-performing marketing functions, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to early-stage growth companies. With over 20 years in marketing leadership roles (including CMO and other senior leadership positions at AppNexus, Xandr, Microsoft Advertising, Impact+ and Captify), I’ve helped companies expand into new markets, launch new products, raise capital, and achieve successful exits, including the acquisitions of AppNexus by AT&T/Xandr, and Xandr by Microsoft. My sector experience spans AdTech, MarTech, FinTech, SaaS, AI, and Sustainability. Part of an executive leadership team of seven, accountable for presenting regularly to the board of PE owned AdTech business. ● Repositioned the company with a new GTM messaging and value proposition, supported by collateral and training. Introduced a more interactive and engaging approach to sales training with role play and gamification, achieving over 90% product marketing satisfaction. ● Ran an audit of the MarTech stack, overseeing the migration of the marketing automation platform and website to better support the marketing strategy and OKRs.     IMPACT+ is a SustainTech startup which enables brands, agencies, publishers and AdTech companies to measure and reduce the environmental impact of their digital advertising. ● Developed company messaging and narrative overview, created a purpose, vision, and mission with the co-founders, and led an employee workshop to define company values. ● Supported the company’s international expansion, securing the first media coverage, and speaking opportunities outside of the companies’ native France, and media training the co-founders to deliver more effective external messaging. ● Established the company’s first marketing team structure and made key hires, including a full-time product marketer, a marketing manager, and specialist freelancers such as PR and content marketing experts. ● Oversaw the development of a rev ops process including onboarding and setting up of Hubspot CRM platform including CRM set up, automating quote and invoicing, client services, and marketing solutions, after running an RFP process to find an external implementation partner. ● Supported the development of the 2024 strategy and built the first fully costed marketing plan and budget. ● Introduced a product go-to-market strategy to ensure a focused approach to product prioritisation based on revenue potential and coordinated the launch of the first major product launch including product naming. ● Represented the company as a spokesperson at both UK and International events such as dmexco.

Originally known as AppNexus, acquired by AT&T to form Xandr and subsequently acquired by Microsoft in 2022. ● Led the global commercial marketing strategy that helped position AppNexus for acquisition by AT&T ($1.6B deal), resulting in the formation of Xandr. Following this led global commercial marketing, and PR and communications strategies that positioned Xandr for acquisition by Microsoft. ● Built and led teams across multiple marketing functions, including global commercial marketing, international field marketing, and corporate communications. Provided functional leadership for a global marketing team of 40 people across multiple continents and timezones when the prior CMO left, running point with the CEO over an 18-month period. ● Rebuilt and led the global PR and communications function, hiring an internal team of four and managing a network of nine global PR agencies. Led the communications strategy that facilitated Xandr’s acquisition by Microsoft. ● Managed marketing budgets of up to $7M to drive brand-to-demand marketing strategies, covering thought leadership, events, lead gen, PR and communications, paid media, enablement, trade, and account-based marketing. Led cross-functional strategy and execution in partnership with other global functions. ● Developed market specific plans to support launch and growth of new markets across EMEA, APAC and LatAm, including the turnaround of challenging markets and building on leadership in top performing markets. ● Delivered brand launch and sunset across international markets, post acquisition and integration, including a global brand launch roadshow across 3 continents. Represented the company at speaking engagements, trade and industry body working groups and boards. ● Provided leadership and change management through two acquisitions and subsequent integrations, as well as major investment rounds.
