Expertise

  • Advice on funding

I have raised working capital for my own business several times, as well as helping other early stage businesses with their raises. I know how to construct appealing raise materials, bullet proof financial modelling, and identification and management of investors

  • Building a team

I am often tasked at reviewing a company's team, structure, roles and capabilities. This often means that some rock stars haven't had the opportunity to flourish, and that sometimes new talent needs to be brought into the team. With my networks, I am able to bring in the right people needed for the stage of the business, and help accelerate growth

  • Design / UX

I was in charge of Domain's initial foray into mobile apps, where we won numerous awards for our product experiences I have personally developed the user experience and design for numerous well known brands I have overseen and built teams to deliver on the product strategies I have

  • Go to market strategy

Product - Market fit, user research, launch tactics, partnership tactics Scaling up on the cheap MVP development, test and learn, fail fast, scale quickly

  • Growth marketing

    - Scaled my own start up to 500k consumers in Australia, India and New Zealand - Developed and implemented marketing strategies for scale ups in both B2B and B2C contexts

  • Leadership

I have held numerous leadership roles in all sizes of business. I have built teams from scratch, restructured teams, and developed leadership frameworks to ensure success. I have also coached emerging leaders to help them fulfill their potential and for them to get the best out of their teams

  • Operations

I work with companies to optimise their operational rhythms to maximise potential and remove unnecessary costs. Usually early stage businesses grow so rapidly that their operational models haven't caught up, and sometimes start foot tripping them, which is where I come in and iron all that out.

  • Product management

I've built a career on product management and have lead product vision, strategy and execution for big businesses, including Domain, through to scale ups and start ups. I'm a product nerd, and love this part of what I do.

  • Sales

Sales cannot exist in isolation of product and marketing, so all of it needs to be looked at together. I like to devise the right way to sell to the right customer, and not be all things to everyone but rather have a very clear sales plan, with key accountabilities and reward structures.
