Consulting, execution, and training for user research and experimentation for eCommerce and lead generation clients. Based in Austin, TX.

Founder at Chirpy
I'm specialized in user research and experimentation. I consult, execute, and train. I went out on my own. After a long history of working at top companies in the digital industry and experiencing a lot of personal growth over the years, I was tired of not being able to spread my wings and fly how I wanted to every day. Ultimately, I had a calling to do something more authentic to myself, so I decided to create something different believing it would resonate with others as well. Hence, Chirpy was born. Throughout my career, I have seen too many people have unpleasant or mediocre experiences with agencies knowing it doesn’t have to be this way. It’s often due to one or more of the following reasons: communication, project management, expertise, transparency, or billing. Why does this happen so much? I believe it is because these companies’ internal cultures are not agile, direct, humble, or knowledgeable enough to quickly recognize and address problems at their roots. However, as a client you would never know this until it is too late because of their knack for making big promises; many of which are never fulfilled. Furthermore, this industry cultivates company cultures that aren’t beneficial to clients, even if a company looks like they’re different on the outside. Many people are promoted based on tenure, not merit (if it’s a really toxic culture, then gender and other demographics are also a factor). The barriers to entry and bars for success are extremely low. Consequences for underperforming are often low. You might say it’s unlike a lot of other professions. I was tired of the shenanigans (these norms, chasing job titles, having my destiny semi-controlled by others, and being told what to do by many who shouldn’t be dictating anything) and my dream was to be an entrepreneur anyway. Being the Type A I am, I ripped the bandaid off to leave a salary and comfort and start a business.
I've managed two teams, one at CXL and one at Optimizely. One was five people. The other was four people. I've also had interns and mentored people. I've experienced many ups and downs along the way!
I've worked at some big names in the industry including CXL and Optimizely and have managed large enterprise clients for several years. I've built, ran, and scaled user research and experimentation programs. I've also consulted and trained. I'm tool agnostic and can use most common tools on the market.
This is part of my CRO work in helping clients be concise, clear, and on brand. It's important to tailor your copy to your users. It's important to use a data-driven approach.
This ties into conversion rate optimization. I'm not a designer, rather I'm supplementary to a designer that looks at designs through a different lens. Many designers are focused on making things aesthetically pretty. I'm focused on ensuring they make money, which is a different skillset.
I've struggled many times with my mindset and how I approach work. I've put a lot of effort into my personal and professional selves, which has been a game-changer in my work with clients. I'm extra passionate about helping other females with this.
I've helped teams understand how their product is performing, what metrics they should consider, how to validate ideas, and complete research to make data-driven decisions.
I've helped teams develop systems to coordinate all of the work involved in product management, especially as it relates to connecting design, dev, QA, and product managers.
I've been working from home for 5 years now, and I've put a ton of effort into my setup and routines to make sure it's sustainable and fulfilling. I'd love to share what I do and what I've learned over the years!
I have a lot of experience with a wide variety of tools covering project management to user research to testing to content management...and much more!

Used a lot while I was at Hanapin to do CRO for PPC campaigns. Note, I've never led PPC work, so I don't know the platform in that capacity. I do know how to pull data for CRO purposes though.
Analyzed data to inform test ideas for lead generation and eCommerce clients. Included insights as part of giant research projects. These insights would be paired with other data sources to increase insight confidence.
Used for many use cases for project management. Used for clients and internal work individually and across different teams. Have built projects and workflows from scratch.

I use Stripe to collect payments for Chirpy. I set it up and connected it to my Squarespace website. I use it for my productized offerings on my Offers page.
Used to gather experiment data, particularly downfunnel data like MQLs, SAOs, SQLs, ARR, etc. I've also had to do some troubleshooting with Tableau data.

Used frequently at Hanapin since it was primarily a PPC agency. Used it to build landing pages from scratch. Edited and analyzed existing pages from clients as well.
Many Hanapin clients used VWO. Hanapin had no dev team, so I built many tests on my own and had to do lots of troubleshooting. I got very familiar with using their visual editor.
Have built and managed sites in Wordpress. I mostly did this while I was at Hanapin helping execs and the marketing team. I built a site for the CEO and managed content for the marketing team.
I've dedicated my career to the niche field of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). I'm versed in lead generation and e-commerce, and there's no industry I can't handle. I work with clients to effectively and efficiently solve their problems, achieve goals, and find areas for growth. I look at customer journeys from end-to-end so that they thrive in today’s economy. I primarily work on experimentation, user research, and design efforts.
