Launching new markets for Uber and a stand alone business unit for Canada's leading mealkit service, I've experienced designing and standing up teams from scratch in rapid scale-ups.
Conversion rate optimisation
I've managed conversion funnels in fintech, people and food transportation. In each case, barriers and complexity were high; but there are always opportunities to drive significant improvements. Early on, the challenge is to focus limited resources on the areas that most move the needle.
Pricing strategy
Pricing is a challenge at early stages. It requires looking outwards at what the market is willing to pay, the best alternatives, as well as the startup's rapidly changing unit economics. I've developed and implemented pricing models for several Uber products and new food products. This is a mix of art and science.
