Hi, I am Gennady, and I am a senior marketing professional with an extensive and prolific career covering both the agency and brand sides. More recently, I held senior marketing roles, on the brand side, in biotech, software development, health and wellness, and financial services. In the past, I produced a variety of work for other industries, on the agency side. I am a big supporter of startup movement, and act as a mentor to startup founders in the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator in NYC. Also, for over two years, I've been attending startup pitches for a reputable angel group in NYC. Before pursuing a career in marketing and completing my MBA, I studied visual arts and design. For a while I was a practicing artist represented by a number of art dealers and galleries. Curiosity and creativity are two things that I value and appreciate a lot. While I always enjoy an opportunity to engage in a creative process artistically, I price no less creativity in business. Today I find an important creative outlet in marketing, in its various forms. Being a mentor offers an incredible opportunity to be creative, to share my knowledge and to engage with and contribute to numerous important creative processes with a variety of startups.     I had an exciting opportunity to work for a bootstrapped startup in the life science space, with unique and creative biotech devices. In the spirit of an agile environment, I had to wear many hats with my sleeves rolled up, learning a lot about the business of life sciences on the go. There were amazing opportunities to extend my marketing and business development skills into biotech product development, both hardware and software, as well as into clinical trials and research areas.
