Expert in Business Model Validation & Startup Strategy | Co-Founder & CCO at Yuno
Hi, I'm Fabi. I'm a founder & ex-CCO ready to share everything I've learned from my own journey in tech and startups. I have over seven years of experience in E-commerce and venture building and have a passion for startups, both having founded myself and consulted early stage ventures. I've worked in the DACH region & East Asia, in startups, agencies & venture studios. I can help especially with business planning, funding & finances, product development, and growth specifically for early-stage startups. You can talk to me about: Startups > How to validate business ideas in a structured way > How to model business cases and unit economics > How to use experimentation to de-risk ideas and find PMF Marketing / Growth > How to go to market and build a marketing strategy from Day 0 > How to overcome stagnating growth by finding your growth loops > How to use digital marketing (PPC) for customer acquisition Career and leading teams > How to lead teams and peers through facilitation and strong workshop design > How to transition from individual contributor to manager > How to hire for growth and commercial roles Reach out for a chat to get started. I'm here to help you tackle your challenges.
I helped multiple startups set their marketing and acquisition efforts in motion, and create a meaningful marketing channels mix. I can help you develop hypothesis on customer personas, acquisition channels and messaging through simple frameworks and can show you how to de-risk them with real customers.
I've been working as a growth marketer for several companies and later oversaw growth marketing and growth strategy at my own startup where we went from 0 to Xm ARR in less than a year. I'm a big fan of Reforge's approach to growth strategy and always happy to discuss all things "growing companies".
I've been working in Venture Builders and Incubators and have extensive knowledge in how to validate ideas in a structured way. In fact, I love that stuff - all the way from the conceptual framing down to the nitty gritty methodic details.
My career started by being the only Google Ads guy in an e-commerce agency. I grew up on that PPC stuff, have taken it everywhere with and, and it's still where I'm most comfortable in. I know all the big platforms (FB, IG, TikTok, LinkedIn Pinterest, etc.) but Google Ads is still what excites me most. Let's talk about it.
PMF is all about developing products that solve a real need for a user group. I'm a big fan of using Sean Ellis' PMF score as a tool to evaluate PMF progress as a structured way to build loops that incorporate customer feedback into the product and growth strategy. Let's talk about it
I've validated many business models through structured user research and am a big fan of a hypothesis driven approach that utilises different experiments to validate assumptions. In doing so, we can create deep market insights, user behavior analysis, and feedback integration to drive product development and innovation.
I know the whole startup game is tough - especially when you care a lot and not everyone gets it. I had my fair share of frustrating situations, be it interpersonal, struggles with imposter syndrome when performance drops, or frustration about all things from investors to Google Ads policy changes. Let me know what you're going through, I'm happy to hear it.

We built the first solution of Yuno, a subscription service for consumer electronics, on the backbone of airtable. I managed all client & subscription data there, build dashboards and customs views for weekly and ad-hoc analytics. I've gotten to know Airtable in this very specific context but was a real power user for a good two years.

I'm a big advocate of design thinking methodology for creating alignment and solving complex problems. Personally, I love a good workshop that brings people together delivers real action items, ownership and deliverables and I've used this approach to solve many things from deriving quarterly OKRs, to a pre-mortem for selling a company, to personal development goals with my team members.

Hand in hand with Google Ads, Google Analytics is one the fundamental tools I've been working with since starting my professional career. I know how to set up a google analytics account, especially in e-commerce, debug conversion events (big one), and connect tools like Google Tag Manager and Google Ads.
My current Startup Yuno is all about bringing consumer electronics into the circular economy. We cover a wide range of tech in eight categories (phones, laptops, tablets, cameras, etc.) and I'm overseeing everything in regards to category management, pricing and marketing.
In over seven years, I've worked agency side, vendor side and build my own company in e-commerce. In that time I've gotten to know many platforms and best practices. My best takes are around everything category management and marketing in the B2C e-commerce space.
I've been working in the venture capital arm of a big corporate. In my case, I was on the so called "Venture Building" site of things where I have most knowledge but I also do have some experience in how to structure a pitch or information memorandum towards VCs or other investor types.
I've worked most of my career in e-commerce. With agencies, merchants and startups. I'm honestly not a platform expert but (/ because) I've seen many shop systems and platforms (Shopware, JTL Shop, Shopify, Webflow, Amazon seller central, ebay, other marketplaces). There are many overarching topics that are similar everywhere (tech architecture, Conv. Tracking, CRO, etc). Let's talk about it.

Yuno offers an online B2C platform where consumer electronics can be rented flexibly, affordably and sustainably. The longer the selected rental period, the lower the monthly price. Customers can rent their electronics and easily manage their subscriptions on the platform. After a rental, Yuno refurbishes the product and rents it to the next customer. I co-founded Yuno ca. 2.5 years ago, scaled it to over 20 employees and am today overseeing all things "commercial" (marketing, CRM, pricing, portfolio). More than anything, I love the "venture building" side of things and so I'm deep in all things business case, unit economics, OKRs, operating cadence, etc.
