Bio

I'm an experienced brand builder focused on developing awareness and growing organic pipeline for rapidly growing companies. My skill set was crafted from my work as a journalist and has only been enhanced with my experience in data analysis, communications, growth strategies, and leading teams. Over the years, I've developed a wide set of leadership skills that focus on digital transformation, and I have worked with businesses ranging from enterprise-level organizations to funded startups. I now work with the one of the most badass global threat intel teams on the planet, but most recently worked at Drata, the fastest-growing risk and compliance technology solution provider (SaaS company). At Drata, I led an amazing team of creative and strategic thinkers who fueled much of our marketing organization's capabilities in an integrated motion that ranges from messaging, brand awareness, campaigns and programs, content, podcasts, webinars, and our annual conference. In the past seven years I've worked for several cybersecurity companies ranging from SOAR and TIP providers to a specialized MSP and ZTNA VPN replacement. Before moving to Charleston, I supported several DC-based startups as both a strategist and the key point executing on the strategy or leading teams. Among some of my work were the likes of Modev, the largest community of mobile-focused technologists. During my time with Modev I organized events for Google, Amazon, Capital One, and others, and focused on bringing the right people together around specific goals and our client's metrics. Before Modev, I worked for government contractors supporting the FAA, and my own digital-focused non-profit, Digital District. When not working, I spend a great deal of my time training for ultra marathons, triathlons, and my podcast Adopting Zero Trust.
