Bio

I'm Olena (or Elena), and I consider myself an Extreme Generalist. Throughout my life, I've explored a multitude of endeavors, making it difficult to condense into a one-sentence pitch! Over the last 14 years, my focus has been on Marketing Growth Programs, Product Strategy and Community. I've been fortunate to work with companies like Microsoft, Miro, Lego, and even run my own PLG company, PopAppFactory. My recent interim role was in Product Strategy for Sitly (babysitter marketplace operates in 14 countries, 7 M users). Before that I spend almost 3 years in Miro where I build and scaled marketing growth programs for Startups, Education, Consultants and Agencies during the hyper growth stage when company grew from 3Mi users to 50Mi in 2 years time. I also was building new products in LEGO incubation studio and founded my own PLG company in Kid's Education sector - PopAppFactory. I also gave a TEDx talk on the topic of social volunteering to spread the concept of digital volunteering with your skills. In my work, I am structured, quick, and I only commit my time if I see that I can bring the best value to the companies I engage with.

Expertise

  • Building a team

I build a high-performing team at Miro - program managers, partnerships managers and operations specialists. It was during hypergrowth phase during Covid.

  • Growth marketing

"Organic growth acquisition loop via partners": = What: Miro for Startups - Apply for a $1,000 credit to run your startup on Miro. = SOW: Program experience, ecosystem partnerships, and GTM strategy. = GOAL: Optimize long-term revenue from startup vertical. ✅ Traction achieved in a 1.5-year period: 6000 Startups activated in the program, with 450 Startup Partners enrolled.

  • Product management

I craft digital products from 2009, starting with mobile B2B/B2C apps, marketplaces and moving into B2B SaaS. Here's how I can help you: = Define or Revitalize your Product Strategy. = Define and analyze your OKRs, Metrics & KPIs. = Conduct customer research and define user personas. = Perform competitor analysis.

  • User research

The last 5 years I did 250+ customer interview, in Miro I was speaking with startups and accelerators to discover how the best to build Miro Startup Program and Consultant Agency Program, in LEGO it was to discover new ideas for venture studio; and recently at Sitly it was to understand how we should change the babysitter marketplace.
