Bio

Currently, at BitSight, I lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of high-impact products, transforming how businesses manage digital risk. My approach emphasizes collaboration across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to create solutions that solve real-world challenges while optimizing product performance. Throughout my career, I've consistently worked at the intersection of emerging technology and strategic business initiatives, guiding teams through complex product lifecycles from ideation to launch. My experience spans multiple industries and global markets, with a focus on aligning product vision to long-term business growth. When I started working, I realized that few people could act as the bridge between tech and business, as it seemed very difficult to be an expert in both areas simultaneously. And there, I found my sweet spot. As humans and not machines, we need to find the drive, inspiration, and pride in what we are building. That’s only possible if we know and understand the WHYs. That was when I fell in love with Product Management.

Expertise

  • Artificial intelligence

Experienced in AI and machine learning, with a proven track record of integrating these technologies into products. At OutSystems, leveraged AI to enhance application delivery efficiency. At BitSight, contributed to AI-driven product initiatives that improved adoption and usability. Focused on applying AI to solve real-world business challenges effectively.

  • Customer success

I've worked in customer success as a Solution Architect and Delivery Manager before transitioning to Product Management. Learning how the customers value the products they use and what are their drivers and motivators is one of the essential things in product management.

  • Data science

When I started working, data science was not a popular term. However, all my work on creating demand forecast models, resource planning, and handling big data is pretty much data science. More recently, I've worked in building and developing AI/ML products, which entails understanding the data science journey.

  • No-code

I've worked for 2.5y at OutSystems - the company leader for low-code software development. I've had the opportunity to contribute to the product vision and strategy, which encompass a great deal of understanding of the market.

  • Product management

I've been a Product manager for more than five years, after extensive experience in hands-on, high-touch product implementations. As a product manager, the primary responsibilities lie in defining and executing a winning product vision and strategy.

  • Technology and tools

I've worked in several different companies in various industries. From Telecommunications, Consulting, Fraud detection, and Software development to AI/ML and cybersecurity.

  • Venting frustration

I learned from a mentor some years back: "Have the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

Toolkit

  • JIRA logo

    JIRA

    10 years of experience

JIRA is one of the many tools Product Manager use daily. I've used JIRA to follow up on the team work, get details from bugs or create Epics and User Stories.

  • MySQL logo

    MySQL

    17 years of experience

Getting data to make the right decision is critical for a Product Manager. Therefore, I learned to query data using SQL very early. (MySQL and snowflake being the most used tools)

  • Salesforce logo

    Salesforce

    10 years of experience

Salesforce has the most data regarding customer accounts, ARR, renewal dates, customer sentiment, etc. Crossing this information with product usage allows me to consider user behavior data against business impact.
