Very helpful! Created a lot of clarity for me and provided great insight on what I needed

Chris was super helpful. I wanted to understand the pros and cons of using SQL vs noSQL for my database, and Chris explained things in detail. He has extensive knowledge of SQL and explained pitfalls one can face while scaling or migrating. Thanks Chris for the session.

Bio

My name is Chris McClure and I'm passionate about mentoring and helping others navigate the tech world. With 8 years of hands-on software development experience under my belt, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and insights that I'm eager to share. I specialize in helping non-tech founders bring their visions to life. Whether it's guiding you through the process of building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), translating technical jargon into simple terms, or providing general technical mentoring, I'm here to help. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence you need to make informed decisions for your venture.

Expertise

  • Technology and tools

Leveraging my background in software engineering and tech leadership, I am uniquely positioned to guide you through the challenges of designing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Having worked on multiple MVPs both as an engineer and founder, I've developed a keen understanding of common hurdles and how to overcome them. I'm committed to helping you identify and resolve potential issues, enabling you to move your project forward effectively.

Toolkit

  • Python logo

    Python

    5 years of experience

I'm much more proficient in C# and strongly typed languages. Python was the closest choice from the list, and honestly, I'm not that good at it. In my opinion, clean code is clean code. If you have questions about the architecture of your MVP, which tech stack or cloud provider to use, or how to build a development team, I can help you. I wish there was a general software development or software lifecycle selection on here instead of just Python.

Industries

  • Information Technology

This seems to be the best fit from the drop downs that I are on the platform. I've worked in software for going on 8 years now. I've worked in mobile development, cloud infrastructure and application development.
