Bio
I spent 10 years riding the rollercoaster of in-house marketing for high-growth SaaS businesses. Having been hands-on across almost every aspect of marketing, leading and growing teams to drive growth - I get it. Since 2021, I've worked as a consultant with a range of small but mighty businesses to develop their marketing strategies. I love working with marketing managers and founders to guide and advise them as a mentor and consultant. I can be your sympathetic ear, a critical friend or advisor to help with your marketing and career challenges.

Building a team
I've grown and led marketing team's from scratch for a few start-ups now, and advised others on the same. I've made some mistakes, and learnt from them. Happy to discuss ideas for team structure, roles and how to develop your team effectively.
Content marketing
Content marketing as been at the heart of my career in marketing, from strategy to execution. It's about educating and informing an audience, generating demand and turning followers into fans. I've worked on almost every type of content you can think of - from traditional SEO blogs to ebooks, video, learning programmes, presentations and more.
Demand generation
I've always worked for businesses where we've had to work hard to build demand, as well as capture it. It forces you to truly add value to your audience, build engagement and have faith that it'll pay off (and it does). Let's discuss!
Growth marketing
Lucky for me, I've had the pleasure of working for growing start-ups. Each has had bumps in the road but one thing that's remained consistent is ambitious financial targets and continual focus on growth. My experience has been that you have to work smarter, not harder, look for marginal gains (not always major game changers) and work collaboratively to succeed.
Imposter syndrome
Let's call out the elephant in the room and admit that we've all had it (and probably all still got it in certain circumstances!). If you're suffering from imposter syndrome I'd love to chat and see if I can help you gain confidence and remember why you are where you are (probably because you're great at what you do!).
Venting frustration
Having worked in-house for start-ups and as a consultant, I get it! It's a rollercoaster. From challenging relationships to winning more budget and everything in between - life as a marketer can be frustrating. I make a sympathetic ear and hope I can offer sound advice.

Worked for and with multiple e-learning software and learning consultancy businesses, as Head of Marketing, CMO and a consultant since 2017. I have a great insight into effective learning, influencers and messaging that resonates within the industry.

I've grown and led marketing teams in the software industry since 2011, for businesses at various stages of growth - from pre-product market fit, to unicorn status. My experience has primarily been with mid-market and enterprise SaaS platforms, and I've been hands on across every area of marketing (and faced the challenges that come with growing businesses!)

Grew and led marketing for a teacher professional development platform, from 1-8 people in the marketing team and up to £4m turnover. Also consulted for an Education research and software business, advising on marketing strategy and messaging.
