I fundamentally believe that no amount of shiny marketing will make up for a product that doesn't offer something genuine and novel to the community it exists within. When you align your product offering with a marketing, content, and community strategy that people want to invest in, you build a relationship that lasts well beyond any short-term acquisition tactics. My career--from when I worked in journalism to full-service marketing to my specialty in technical marketing for B2B and B2D companies--has been about helping people reach their communities. Since moving into the B2B technology space nearly five years ago, I've had the delight of continuing to focus on technical companies serving technical users, from data engineers to software engineers to CTOs.  Now, as the director of content and community for a leader in the data industry, I'm excited to help even more companies build a genuine connection with their communities. When you partner with me you won't get a spreadsheet of SEO bids to focus on, a cookie-cutter paid and organic marketing strategy, and the same topic clusters everyone in your space is already writing about. Instead, I focus on helping each company I work with build a bespoke, people-first marketing strategy that focuses on building something your competitors will never by able to copy: A genuine community of practitioners that care about your product space.
