Expertise
Advice on funding
I have a strong network of contacts to introduce you to both, other advisors as well as investors. Also happy to review pitch decks and give feedback based on my experience with both, the corporate as well as the startup world.
Growth marketing
I seen growth hacking not only using some online tricks but also by building partnerships with super large companies and attach yourself to their brands. The combination of both is usually the secret sauce for success. :-)
Mindset coaching
I have run through multiple challenges in my life from almost burnout to having had multiple mentors and coaches. Happy to share my experience and help you to avoid making the same mistakes.
Product management
Having managed, launched and even killed multiple products in my life, I'm happy to share my experience on how to do it. And how to avoid making the same mistakes again and again.
Product market fit
I have created, analyzed and managed many projects and new value propositions over the years. Happy to support you how you can think big, start small and scale fast.
Technology and tools
Have implemented and tested many of the available tools on the market (and continue to do so). For both, b2b content marketing based approaches or complete online sales funnels.
Toolkit
Adroll
13 years of experienceI've used both, AdRoll and BuySellAds in terms of doing cross channel retargeting. Both platforms have its advantages and disadvantages, but depends on what works for your case.
Google Ads
26 years of experienceI've done Google Adwords for many years and multiple projects. The platform has evolved over the years tremendously. The most interesting thing currently is probably youtube ads based on what people search on Google.
Ahrefs
14 years of experienceOne of several SEO tools I use that is important to track your competition, find new opportunities and optimize your site in general. Not my standard tool, but one of them.
Asana
12 years of experienceAsana in the early days was missing a lot of functionality. However, today (in 2019), it is a mature solution to manage your projects. I've used it both, in the corporate world as well as startup world.
Buffer
14 years of experienceI've used buffer since its early days. Buffer was the first solution that was able to properly manage social media in a more automated way. Buffer is my standard tool for this purpose.
BuySellAds
14 years of experienceI've used both, AdRoll and BuySellAds in terms of doing cross channel retargeting. Both platforms have its advantages and disadvantages, but depends on what works for your case.
ChartMogul
12 years of experienceChartmogul is till today our go-to solution for anything regarding tracking online subscription revenues and KPIs. I have been using Chartmogul since its early days.
ClickFunnels
11 years of experienceI have implemented clickfunnels multiple times for so-called online sales funnels. I'm however not fully sure if it performs well on a global scale as well as for SEO in general (both are SEO factors that are important). I usually prefer WordPress plus WooCommerce and Cartflows and similar tools.
Facebook
17 years of experienceI've done organic as well as paid facebook for ages. The platform has improved and evolved tremendously over the years. Today I would call it an enterprise solution for ads on multiple channels. It requires a lot of testing to find successful channels that actually work/convert.
Geckoboard
12 years of experienceWe created a custom dashboard using Geckoboard a few years ago to track all our global install base of our software. We however later replaced it using our own data lake and dashboard solution.
Google Analytics
24 years of experienceGoogle Analytics is a standard tracking tool that you use for any website. Having experience in it is a must for making sure you can optimize your website.
Google Data Studio
11 years of experienceI have been using Google Data Studio many times and love how it developed over time. However, today we are mostly using other tools that are sitting on top of our data lake.
Google Webmaster Tools
24 years of experienceGoogle Webmaster Tools are a standard and must use tool to get found in Google for any website. Now that Google has launched its recent Site Kit for WordPress, this became significantly easier and less time-consuming.
Hootsuite
14 years of experienceI've used hootsuite mostly in the corporate world. It's a great tool for larger companies but I think often overkill for smaller companies and startups. But in the end, it depends on your use caase.
Hotjar
13 years of experienceI've used Hotjar for many projects, mostly websites and some SaaS apps to evaluate user behavior. And then optimize the website or SaaS app to reach better conversions and a better UX.
Hubspot
13 years of experienceI have used, implemented and purchased hubspot for both, the corporate world as well as for and with some startups. Hubspot is a very strong solution but may have its challenges also.
Intercom
12 years of experienceI've worked with multiple startups that used intercom as their main interaction tool for communicating with customers as well as drive interactions during the sales funnel. Intercom is a great tool but has its price..
JIRA
19 years of experienceWe have been using Jira mostly in the software development environment. If Asana, Wrike or Trello are not enough, Jira is the right tool to use, especially for development.
KeywordTool.io
12 years of experienceKeywordtool is a good tool to find new keywords in your niche for SEO. I however like kwfinder more, but it was not on the list of selections on this list here :)
LinkedIn
27 years of experienceI've done LinkedIn ads and Linkedin automation (with tools such as phantombuster) for several projects. LinkedIn is probably the most interesting platform today (2019), both in terms of organic reach and paid ads. I've also developed my own set of principles on how I combine physical networking with digital networking over linkedin.
Mailchimp
14 years of experienceI've used Mailchimp mostly for small projects. It's a great platform but usually, I prefer all in one solutions for larger projects. In the end it highly depends on the requirements of the project.
ManyChat
11 years of experienceI've implemented many flows using ManyChat and facebook messenger, mostly as part of online sales funnels in the ecommerce space. ManyChat is my favorite tools for chatbots.
Moz
12 years of experienceOne of several SEO tools I use that is important to track your competition, find new opportunities and optimize your site in general. Not my standard tool, but one of them.
Salesforce
17 years of experienceSalesforce is a very powerful CRM that can do many other things if needed, and at additional costs. I've implemented and used salesforce mostly in the corporate world and we also implemented things like CPQ and other advanced parts.
Semrush
14 years of experienceOne of several SEO tools I use that is important to track your competition, find new opportunities and optimize your site in general. Not my standard tool, but one of them.
Trello
13 years of experienceTrello is usually my go-to tool for both, small startup projects and/or personal projects. However, if a project gets bigger, trello can become cluttered quickly. So it highly depends on your use case.
Wordpress
22 years of experienceWordPress is the standard go-to-solution for Website building. At Plesk, we're running over 1.4M WordPress website. It's kind of our core business in managing WordPress :)
Zapier
15 years of experienceI've been using Zapier in many many projects to automate the business. I would say I can't live with it anymore - it's also a standard tool that everyone needs to know in and out. And it's constantly improving in features!
Industries
