So much video is consumed on YouTube every day it's hard not to consider the possibility of this channel for user acquisition. I've found that if you have an inventory of quality videos, this can be a great channel for retargeting or building awareness with similar or custom intent audiences. One key thing here is to hone in on the metrics that matter for video and optimize towards those.
Quora is unique in that it offers you the ability to build awareness during research phase of a user journey - and it's less competitive right now compared to Google/Bing/Facebook. One of my favorite benefits of this ppc channel is that you only paid when someone clicks your ad and not for impressions. While you can retarget visitors on Quora, I've had the most success with accounts by thinking of it as top of the funnel traffic.
Paid LinkedIn campaigns are on the "newer" side of things for ppc but a super interesting option for B2B. I've run sponsored inmail campaigns and sponsored content for five different brands on LinkedIn and would love to chat about what's been working and what hasn't.

At Adaptly, we partner with large consumer brands and helped them executed high ROI paid advertising campaigns. In addition to PPC, I worked on the marketing team to help improve lead gen on the website. As the lead strategist for the brand’s website, content, and social channels, we were able to increase lead generation by 85%, triple the number of shares per blog post, and generate 8x the amount in social interactions.
I worked on the global marketing team at Nielsen and oversaw the majority of brand marketing initiatives. I was able to think big — both near and long term — and leverage data and analytics to learn more about user behavior.
I studied marketing and graduated from Notre Dame in 2012. When I wasn't in the classroom, I spent the rest of my time on the soccer field on the Women's Soccer team.
